Getting into Vlogging

I have always been a blogger, albeit inconsistent, will always be one - until my sister encouraged me to vlog.

I was very hesitant to doing it since I thought it's not for me even if others before have done it successfully and are enjoying it. Not until 2 things happened that made me say to myself it's really worth a try.

First, I saw how my sister enjoyed watching my videos, she lives in England and after more than a decade living in a different continent she still gets very homesick. My sister was very happy to see me share my Japanese lunch from Family Mart (yes! she loves me that much! hahaha), to see my life happen here in Cebu while she lives abroad. In my mind, even if others will criticize me for doing what I do, or find me silly talking to a camera while walking in the mall - I know that someone who matters to me a lot is looking forward to watching my vlogs.

Second, was that I met a young woman who became a friend and whose living the same insecurities I've had before about my body and being a plus size girl living in Cebu. I never thought that I could make a difference to one person with me just talking about body issues and confidence.

I have decided to share my plus size life to young women and even men that it's OK to be yourself, that you have the right to live a life of your own choosing and it's time to stop hiding from those who easily body shame other people.

Life is beautiful my friends and so are all of us. The world is now ready to see the quirks of your "unconventional beauty".
