A lot of people thought I was pregnant, but honestly it's just how I look, perpetually bloated. L and I met under the circumstance that usually doesn't lead to a relationship so much more a marriage, it wasn't love at first sight either. We are both two very different individuals who simply made a (crazy) choice to be together. L doesn't like some of the things I like, I dislike things that he likes but what I love about him is he doesn't pretend to be anybody else but himself and I can always be myself around him.
One thing I've also realized is that I truly can be psychotic and he unbelievably has the patience to deal with my sugar-filled hormone induced mood swings. Some thought we jumped on it quite too soon, maybe we did, maybe we didn't - and I know I can say this on behalf of my husband that what we both know and what we hold dear is the blessing of finding each other and building our lives together as partners.
