Food Trip: Asian Buffet Night with Siblings @ Yugu Yakiniku

It's been a long time since my family went out to dinner. We've been busy with so much work and mama was busy with her community commitments. Although Roi, my brother and I work in the same company -- our schedules have been extremely tight that whatever we do outside work is just sleep. It's quite challenging to balance life when you work nights; your body, your cycle, pretty much everything changes. So, my sister told us that we should do something fun, and if you know my family -- food is equal to fun! My sister even if she's outside the country treated us out to dinner while mama is also with her in England. We wanted to do Chinese buffet at Majestic but apparently they are closed due to renovations so I was left to choose either Wakamatsu or Mikado. Funny though we didn't end up on either.

"It's one thing to have an amazing family but it's another to have an amazing family who knows how to enjoy good food!"

I was careful not to just choose a Japanese restaurant coz I was craving, had to consider my sister-in-law whose pregnant, so she can't eat raw fish and my brothers are not a big fan. Thank God, Yugu Yakiniku serves Chinese, Japanese and Korean food. Everyone happy!

I love the fact that everything is in buffet style, unlike some yakiniku restaurants that deliver the meet to your area, in Yugu they really do have a designated area where you can choose the meat or seafood you want to grill.  They had bacon strips, sausages, chicken, squid, shrimp etc.!!! Dreamland!

Another thing I enjoyed is that you don't get hungry from waiting while food is grilling. If you're like me who immediately wants to eat at the sight of food, it's a perfect set-up because they already have food that are cooked.

My brother was not feeling too well but I don't think I
can say the same for his appetite. :)

Dominique seems to enjoy the food as well, she was very talkative.

I myself had 2-3 rounds, which by the way made it difficult to breathe nor sit upright hahaha.

My sister-in-law, Suzette is also a foodie like us :)

Busog!!!
