Recently... and other Makeup & Hosting Updates

Recently, life has all been about work. Majority of my time is spent in the office either doing reports, training, interviews or meetings. A lot of people would probably think I don't have a life anymore but I am enjoying my hours albeit long.

Although I have a really tight schedule at work, I'm also just glad that I can do other things that I love on the side; makeup and hosting. This month is blessed with gigs and I am extremely grateful. I have a hosting gig for Alliance Francaise de Cebu for their annual Fete dela Musique on the 21st, celebrating good music at the Pink House Garden for free.

And since I had A LOT of things to do at the office that I can't easily move schedules around --- I was super thankful that my bosses allowed me to do the test makeup for my July bride in the office, that's what I call support.It was supposedly scheduled on the 28th but since we wanted it to be on the same day as their pre-nup shoot then we moved it last Friday.  The bride, Lyell was also very cool about having the test makeup done there.

Finally, yesterday, Saturday morning, I did another makeup gig with Ate Mimi. It was her brother-in-law's wedding and she asked me to do her mom's, one of the sponsors, makeup and her's. I really am starting to love weddings, as I get to know a lot of people and you see family rallying together out of love to get things done. Everybody still gets to laugh and catch up despite rushing from the hotel to the church.

I love the rush that I am feeling when I do all these things. Somehow, I feel very productive and that I'm not wasting my time on doing nothing at all -- and of course I also get to earn extra on the side. I would gladly have my months filled with activities; gigs and work --- it just feels right!
