Back Track: Glow - Earth Hour

Let me share some events that I'm really proud to have been a part of. I'll backtrack this baby like an 80's dj, back in March I was in Davao for a series of corporate functions from my old job as a training coordinator then I got a call from Ms. Malca of Crimson Resort and Spa in Mactan.

At first I didn't really know what the jizz was, then she asked me if I could host the Earth Hour event. My fabulous friend Patty was the one who gave them my number and told them I could do the job so of course in all that is mighty and beautiful I had to say YES even if I was really scared that I might not be able to do it. One of my concern was I was told that it'll be on the beach and that just alerted alarms for me thinking of what to wear and not looking like a beached whale. Thank God it turned out well.

When I got there I was of course treated like a VIP, while waiting for the room they prepared Ms. Malca and I had this really strong coffee at their restaurant, Saffron.

Anyways, I got this very swanky room near the beach. Talk about being treated like a princess <3...Saying the Crimson is beautiful would be an understatement, the whole resort was made for relaxation and it definitely shouts the words "pleasure and vacation".

During that hour when electricity was turned off lanterns were lit and it was just so pretty look at. There was also a fundraising for the benefit of the conservation of a mangrove plantation somewhere up north. The event raised almost around 70K which is a huge amount of money that can definitely make things happen.

This year Crimson has invited me to host two events for them and I can't wait.
