I've been doing makeup for almost a year now and if there is one thing I'm very meticulous and anal about it would be my makeup brushes. I always give them a shower before I do any gig because I find it important that my customers are safe from anything that could be harmful to their skin.
It would be in such bad taste to go to a gig with brushes still dusty from the last gig. If in cases that I get gigs day after the other, that's the time that extra brushes are absolutely necessary or you buy makeup brush cleaners from Mac or there is one from ELF that's not as expensive but does the job.
You don't have to buy expensive brushes because you can get brushes at a very affordable price that are made from synthetic and goat hair. It's available at malls or just shop online.
On another news, I finally have my Real Techniques brush by Samantha Chapman. My sister got it for me and my mom brought it back from her visit to England. This actually makes me really happy.
I love the gold and black combination; it's so elegant. And the hair is just like silk or velvet on your skin. I'm so so in love with this brush. It's amazing.
