hair products I've been using lately... |
So, let me try this out. I've always had curly hair, thin, dry and tend to become coarse. On top of that I've had it dyed quite a lot in the past so it is damaged. When it comes to my hair I am picky with what I use. My shampoo is a baby shampoo that I still dilute with water - and I wash it every other day unless of course when I'm out so much that I tend to wash it everyday. Now here are the products that I use, I'm just gonna tell you why I use them --I don't really do the pros and cons because I like these.
For the conditioner, this is where it get difficult for me. Conditioning is so important for dry hair, it is the only thing that gives it bounce and life. I used Pantene conditioner before until it didn't do much for me anymore. Then came Herbal Essences --- first of all it does condition my hair without limping my already thin hair, it smells amazing and the the coloring of the tips of my hair seemed to have improved.

I don't know if this is available here in the Philippines but I'm still scouring for a nice alternative for this dry shampoo my sister gave me from the UK, it's called Batiste Dry Shampoo... This is an absolute savior. On days when I'm not supposed to wash my hair so as not to dry it up more than it already is but my hair is looking like it could use some lifting, I use the dry shampoo. It does give your hair a boost and helps when the hair gets a bit greasy.
Finally, the mousse! I can't live without a good mouse for a good hold and lift. When I don't blow dry my hair and just air dry it after showering I still put mouse on. I brush it on my hair from back to front while being air dried. It still gives me the volume I want and the fullness. The White Rain brand is what I use because it quickly dries up even without the blow-dry and it smells like rain!
How about you what hair products do you use?
XOXO
